The Glenview Blades Advisory Board was created to promote and assist in the development of all recreational synchronized skating activities at the Glenview Ice Center. In addition, the Advisory Board is an advisor to the Glenview Park District, which directly sponsors and administers the recreational synchronized skating teams known as the Glenview Blades. The Advisory Board helps team coaches manage the affairs of the team, including organizing fundraising activities and assisting with team operations.
